Alford Thompson

Alford Thompson was born and raised in Northeast Washington, D.C. He was a two-sport athlete that lettered in football and track & field at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. He played defensive back for the Falcons on their 2009 squad that went 11-1 en route to the WCAC championship, named a 2009 WCAC Honorable Mention, and a 2008 WCAC Second-Team. He continued his education and football career at Saint Francis University, Pennsylvania, majoring in social work. He played defensive back all four years at SFU, and was apart of a defense that was top 10 in NCAA FCS in 2014.

His first coaching opportunity was in 2015 with a junior college level team, DC Wolves, coaching defensive backs and took the role of defensive coordinator when the head coach was away for the second half of the season. Coached defensive backs for National Collegiate Prep Public Charter High School fall 2016 and fall 2017. In 2017 the Panthers ended the season 12-1 and came away with the D.C. Public Charter High School Championship and was ranked top 10 in Washington, DC high school football rankings.
